Graflex for Jedi’s…

This is my Graflex “Speed Graphic” camera, ca. 1947.

This is the original base of the flash unit that attaches to the side of the camera.

…And this is Anakin Skywalker’s lightsaber, given by Obi-Wan Kenobi to Luke Skywalker in George Lucas’ masterpiece “Star Wars”.

With a few modifications (lengths of windshield-wiper rubber for the handle, for example) you, too, can create a genuine lightsaber. Just look for an old Graflex Speed Graphic and do what the prop-makers at Lucasfilm did: create an icon of cinema history!
